Tom
After graduating from Purdue University in 1991 with a degree in business, Tom joined a commodities trading firm in New York City. Two years later he joined a family member’s armored vehicle business in Cincinnati, O’Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt. Since starting at O’Gara-Hess in 1993, Tom has been involved in all aspects of the armored vehicle manufacturing industry.
At O’Gara, Tom began as a cost estimator, and then rose through sales and marketing to become a national sales manager. Soon after O’Gara-Hess (now a division of BAE Systems) went public Tom joined a competitor where sales, ERP and IT were his responsibilities. Having skills in sales, marketing, resource planning, and technology, Tom founded HEAT Armor in 2008 in the city of Chicago and is serving as the President of HEAT Armor, LLC.
Jeff
Jeff’s 20 year career in security, logistics and supply chain management has included general management, consulting and entrepreneurial experience in major metropolitan markets working with many Fortune 500 companies, as well as, providing services to small to mid-size retailers and financial institutions. Currently, Jeff is the Director of Operations and a Partner of HEAT Armor, LLC, a design, engineering and manufacturer of armored vehicles. He is responsible for and oversees the daily business operations. Prior to, Jeff served as a business unit President with Loomis, a Securitas company, where he directed 32 operations in 16 states with annual revenues in excess of 75 million. His full P&L responsibilities spanned from revenue development through market expansion, organic growth and acquisitions to profitability improvements by cultivating a continuous improvement culture to drive operational efficiency and enhancing customer service.
Doug
Doug has worked in the automotive field for 11 years, concentrating on limousines and armored vehicle integration. He recently worked at another armoring company, managing the design and engineering department. Prior to that, Doug worked for six years at General Motors’ Specialty Vehicles. He was responsible for the police vehicle program and several other specialty vehicle programs, including the Cadillac Armor Prep Program, as well as on the Cadillac Armored DeVille. Doug also spent 2 years at Roush Engineering where he worked on armored vehicles and other limo programs. Doug has a mechanical engineering degree from Michigan Technological University. Doug is serving as a consultant of Engineering for HEAT Armor, LLC.
